Steps to order your own t-shirt quilt:
1. Decide on the number of t-shirts needed for the size quilt
that you want. Please make sure they are washed. If
there are any special areas you want to show on the quilt,
make a note on masking tape and tape it near the special
area. If you would like to carefully cut the shirt apart at
front/back seam and mail me only the side with the art
work, that would be great and would certainly save you on
postage.
2. Email me first thing so that we can get a contract filled
out. The prices quoted include all the fabric and materials
needed for the entire quilt. Shipping charges are an additional
$15-20. My email address is elena@quiltsbyelena.com
3. Mail your t-shirts to the address provided as well as your
choices of colors for the sashing (between blocks), the
border (around the whole quilt) and backing (the reverse
side of the quilt). I will email you that your shirts arrived
safely. 1/2 payment is due at this time.
4. I will email you with a photo of your finished quilt within
6-8 weeks (usually much sooner than this) from the time I receive
your shirts. Remainder of payment is due before the quilt will
be mailed. I accept Paypal or cashier's check.
5. Your quilt will be mailed to you immediately upon receipt of full
payment. And I promise--you will LOVE it!
